New circular economy action plan

The safe treatment of plastic products, especially plastic packaging, has become a great burden in modern society. YePP suggests that the whole society should establish a gradual plan to make consumers, decision makers and brand enterprises change their thinking and accept the idea that plastic is not a disposable item, but a valuable resource. Adopting the circular economy model can realize the collection and high-quality regeneration of plastics on a large scale, create a new development model with economic, environmental and social benefits, reduce carbon emissions and reduce the over exploitation of raw materials. The new circular economy action plan (CEAP) provides recommendations for all industries, including plastics, to guide the transition of the EU economy to a circular economy. CEAP announced further targeted measures to address the sustainability challenges posed by this material and continued to promote a coordinated approach to addressing plastic pollution. These measures include the development of the EU policy framework for bio based (BBP), biodegradable and Compostable Plastics (bdcp) as a follow-up to the plastics strategy.

YePP is committed to achieving the strategic goal of carbon neutrality in 2060. Therefore, YePP proposes that our partners, including farmers, raw material suppliers, biomass producers / processors, plastic trade associations, retailers, consumers, recyclers, certification and standardization institutions, join this action. We advocate extensive cooperation in the whole chain and life cycle, Understand plastic logistics from the whole life cycle, including production and processing industries, downstream suppliers and recycling industries, and connect the whole chain in series to form closed-loop management. Our future goal is to provide customers with packaging solutions under the guidance of the action principle of circular economy, fully promote the recycling efficiency of resources, replace the current linear development model based on mining, consumption, use and discarding with circular economy, and promote the sustainable development of society.
